West LA Chamber is excited to invite you to a special brunch with Carol Spencer and friends. This event will be full of surprises and is a "must-attend" for all Barbie fans and fashion lovers alike.

Carol Spencer began her career as a designer for the Barbie Doll in 1963 creating Couturier & Mod Fashions as well as Color Magic & Sew Free sets with play value.

As each new doll entered the World of Barbie Carol enjoyed designing their clothes. And throughout her 35+ years tenure as Designer for the Barbie Doll she's saved her favorites.

Now that she is retired Carol wants to share her knowledge about the Barbie Family of Dolls and to find loving homes for my collection. Carol recently made a large donation - Highlights of her Designs for Barbie to the UFDC Doll Museum in Kansas City, MO. and donated her final OOAK design to benefit equally The Costume Society of America and Children’s Mercy Hospital, KC
