  • Roozbeh Farahanipour

    President 2015 – Present
    Board Member 2014 – Present

    Roozbeh is the owner of Delphi Greek Restaurant and has been involved in Los Angeles Westwood ‘s South of Wilshire business community since 2004. He joined the West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce (WLACC) in 2009 and was designated the WLACC Westwood representative in 2015. He was also elected President/CEO of the Chamber in 2015.

    Farahanipour, a long-time Westwood resident, was elected as Business Representative on the Board of Westwood Neighborhood Council in 2010, 2012, and 2014. He is a member of the Friends of Westwood Library and was elected to their Board of Directors in 2013 and as Chair of Membership and Development in 2015.

    Roozbeh serves on various other boards and council’s in a leadership role including Westwood Community Council, Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed), the West Side Council of Chambers of Commerce (WC3) and the Westwood Village Rotary Club.

  • Steve Little

    Board Member 2011-Present

    Steve is a State Farm Insurance Agent and the President of Steve Little Insurance Agency, Inc. He specializes in individual insurance coverages as well as insurance for business owners and commercial properties. He is well versed in Auto, Fire, Life and Health Insurance as well as other financial services products. As a member of the West LA Chamber of Commerce, Steve is actively involved in supporting the Chamber and the mission of the Chamber to help other business owners be successful with their businesses.

    Steve attended Brigham Young University and studied Construction Management and Business. He eventually established his own contracting company primarily building custom homes. After several years of building custom homes Steve expanded his business by opening up a separate cabinetry division which took advantage of the latest automation available in the industry to offer a consistent finished product to his customers. In 2008, Steve sold both of those businesses and relocated back to California to help manage his Dad’s insurance office. On November 1, 2010 Steve was appointed by State Farm Insurance as a captive Agent and opened the doors of his own Insurance Agency.

  • Elham Yaghoubian

    Chief Financial Officer
    Board Member 2015 – Present

    Elham is a human rights activist, cultural advisor, and president of Tower of Babel a language services company, which provide certified translation services in 50 languages, Interpreters, Tutoring, Dialect Coaching, Voice-Over Talent, and Cultural Branding Expertise.

    She received her Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Translation in Tehran and pursued her studies for a master degree in Political Science and International Relations at the California State University of Los Angeles. She wrote her first book when she was 16, published 4 books and numerous articles and frequently travels to give educational lectures about human rights in different seminars.

    Elham worked for California National Guard as the Cultural and community Outreach Adviser prior her involvement with Museum of Holocaust and has been adviser and board member of a number of non-profit organizations.

    As a director of West LA Author’s Club, she in charge of a program which introduce the writers, thinkers and literary activists of our community on a monthly basis.

  • Norman W. Bernier, CLU, ChFC

    Hello All—After being a West LA Chamber of Commerce member for about five years I was elected to the board in July of 2014. Because of that experience I’ve become even more optimistic about the chamber’s future. Founded in 1945 in Rancho Park, our chamber is entering its eighth decade of service. We’ve lasted almost as long as the Soviet Union did and, unlike the USSR, we endure still. What is it about free markets and free minds?

    As a self-employed, independent insurance agent I often rely on the resources available through our member entrepreneurs, and I especially enjoy helping our valued members who come to me with their life and health insurance needs. I represent the chamber at the Westside Neighborhood Council meetings every month, and I manned the chamber’s booth at the 2015 Pick Pico Neighborhood Street Fair. And, to prevent idleness, I’m supervising our growing chamber commission sales team.

    Member, the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, and the Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters.

    My wife Rosemarie and I have three, now-adult children ( Adam, Elizabeth, and Alex ) and we now share our home with two feline brothers, Xander and Topher, who we adopted from Kitten Rescue. We live in the WSSM ( Westwood South of Santa Monica ) neighborhood.

  • Buzz Park

    Board Member 2008-2009, 2015 – Present

    Brian “Buzz” Park is a marketing strategist and the owner of Lightyear Marketing Group, an Internet-centric full-service marketing agency. He specializes in developing marketing strategies for local Los Angeles companies. Buzz is passionate about the mission of the West Los Angeles Chamber and was part of the team in 2008 that established the current mission of Referral, Advocacy and Education.

    Buzz graduated from the United States Naval Academy and became a Navy helicopter pilot and tactical instructor for the SH-60B Seahawk community. After the Navy, Buzz worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a Sales Rep, winning both the District Sales Rep of the Year and Circle of Excellence Awards. Buzz left Pfizer to spend 18 months as an Associate Pastor with Morning Star Christian Church (San Diego), and then moved to Los Angeles to take the Director of Sales position at BusinessWare, Inc, a technology startup. In 2004, Buzz became an Account Executive with CBS Radio (KFWB-AM 980) and the Dodgers Radio Network, helping small and mid-sized companies build their businesses through radio and digital marketing strategies. In 2007 Buzz left CBS to start TruePresence Los Angeles which eventually became Lightyear Marketing Group.

  • Chris Gray

    Board Member 2016 – Present

    Chris Gray is the Executive Vice President for Moss & Company Property Management. He joined Moss & Company in 2011 and has been instrumental in building Moss & Company’s multifamily business from 4,500 to 10,000 units under management in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Prior to joining Moss & Company, he spent 10 years in sales and marketing with the E&J Gallo Winery and Lumenis Medical.

    Chris was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from LMU in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. He is a proud member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and earned the CPM designation in 2014, the most prestigious designation in the industry.

  • Simon Etehad

    Board Member 2016 – Present

    Simon Etehad focuses his civil litigation practice on serving individual and corporate clients within the practice areas of personal injury, business litigation, legal malpractice, and unlicensed contractors. He is a staunch and tenacious legal advocate. Most recently, this led to obtaining a favorable appeal and a subsequent Order vacating an Arbitrators award.

    Mr. Etehad’s tenacity and passion also carry over into his many civic and charitable activities, foremost of which are his leadership roles with the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, a cause which is very near and dear to Mr. Etehad’s heart, and the Nessah Educational and Cultural Center

    Mr. Etehad received his Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, Los Angeles, where he majored in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law where he also founded the Jewish Legal Society.

  • Nima Mobasser

    Board Member 2017 – Present

    Nima is the Vice-President of Los Angeles based Car Rental company, AAA Rent A Inc., specializing in passenger van rental, with a branch in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nima’s involvement in Car Rental business started in 2009 when he consulted car rental agencies in IT, marketing, strategy, as well as business development.

    Since 2015, Nima serves as a member of Tennant Group, a nationwide consulting group serving car rental operators in all aspects of their business. As of 2016, Nima also serves as an ambassador to ACRA Legislative group, who represents the interests of American Car Rental Association on federal and state levels.

    Nima attended Santa Monica College, then UCLA as a mathematics major. He has since served as a consultant in various capacities (IT, marketing, business development, etc.) for a wide range of businesses, including mortgage industry, real estate firms, social services agencies, car service and dealerships, accounting agencies, design firms, party rental businesses and more.
